Who's behind ComboGym
I've spent more than 15 years in the Fitness equipment business. In that time, my team and I have helped equip everything from a bench and a set of dumbbells in a spare room to complete private gyms in our customers' homes. That's most of what we do: home gyms, built around the person who's going to train in them.
The name says it all: a combo. Almost nobody needs just one machine. What you need is a set of equipment that works in your space, for your goals and within your budget. Strength, cardio, free weights and accessories that fit together and arrive in one order. Our ready-made combos come from the combinations our customers order most, grouped by brand level, type of training and goal. That's why we built ComboGym.
How we work
Before we recommend anything, we get to know you: who will train, your height and weight, your experience, what you want the equipment for (losing weight, getting stronger, staying healthy and active), how often you plan to train and what your budget is. Height and weight matter more than most people think: they decide the right treadmill deck length, the right bench, the weight stack and the maximum user capacity. Then we put together a combo that truly fits you. If a simpler or less expensive option is the better fit, we tell you. We'd rather have a happy customer who comes back than a big sale that didn't make sense.
We sell only genuine equipment from the brands we carry as an authorized dealer, with full manufacturer warranty. Prices are clear, and shipping is shown before you pay, so there are no surprises.
Before I went into Fitness equipment, I studied medicine. It's not what I do today, but it left me with something for good: respect for the human body and care with every piece of advice I give.
A family business
I've never done this alone. Over the years I've built this business with three people named Alex: my brother, who helped me get started; my longtime business partner; and my friend Alex, our CEO (and yes, my boss). The idea hasn't changed: treat every customer like a friend who asked for advice.
